Steel is at street level, LaSalle is a bridge at this point.

I wonder how they get the raker beams out of there after the floors are done. Do they come apart? Or do they cut them?

It's fun to see a huge steel skyscraper go up. Ever since I joined the forums it just seems like concrete structures. (b/c of that condo boom)

I am thinking this is going to be a grand slam building, but I'm holding off judgement until I see that glass on the building.

SolarWind, your photos this time reminded me of how excited I was when the Sterling was rising... I used to frequent this location to check out how they were going to detail the garage and Carroll Avenue side...

It's just amazing how far we've come. Today if the Sterling were announced, most of us on this board would probably say, "Yawn, another concrete SCB 50-story?"
