I wanted to substitute them for Terra Cotta on a South Loop project that I used to be involved with but our architect said the DPD wouldn't accept it. I asked the architect to go look at Parkview's mock up but gave up after a while. Some of the comments here back up my idea. Oh well, got to pick your battles I guess.

So it is a metal rainscreen instead of terracotta. That's pretty cool I guess, a first for a Chicago high rise I believe.
You can see the copper version on the Dri Design web site, though. I presume it was killed due to rising metals costs. That's too bad, because it looks like it would have been really cool!
