At this point we have already waited four months since work stopped
on the site, what's a couple more weeks when were talking about a
$600 million project and 108 floors total?

On a side note: the sales office has been closed this week.

There will be some news very soon in the next few weeks. I think the news will be disheartening. Things are not looking very good at this point.

The roller coaster ride continues...Good news, bad news...it's going to get built, it's not going to get built. I'm a little worried now. I give up on any speculation until I see it in the media.

By then there's no telling how much materials/labor will cost. Either way this sucks.

This project's success or failure will echo far beyond an empty lot with piles sticking out of it. I doubt Saca could recover if this were to fail considering how much of his own money he has sunk into the project to move on with any of the other projects he has proposed around downtown. And how many entreprenuers are going to line up and put their neck on the line for a future project given the problems with financing in this city. I guess the only way to get a highrise condo up in this town is to have a 200% sell through with 2 signed buyers for every unit.

It's been so long now, since construction stopped, my excitement had almost disappeared. But I remain optimistic. I would love to see 'em built. I really would. If the worst happens and it doesn't get built, I'd really like to see that block split in two and used in the same way as the Aura/U.S. Bank block.
