I believe it's for the security guards in the building and as a preventive measure for intruders. It's minimal lighting and I guess one of the coolest things about the EPA building is that the lights are sensitive to body mass and only come fully on when someone is coming down the hallway. Could turning the lights all the off and then back on result in more of a power drain than just keeping them on at a low level? I know that this applies to some practices, not sure about lighting.

But the mice running around the first two floors are a problem.

Wow, can't say I didn't see this one coming.

Can't say I expected anything less for Denver...

So what we have here is one of the greatest buildings ever proposed in Denver, only to fall into obscurity by being scaled back in size and the design being "Denverized". This town never fails to disappoint me, it never does...

Yay I love that you're back.. you're exactly like Warren.. but with the opposite outlook.. it's good to know that Denver is doing well!

LOOK at the shadow of the FS it looks like the new rendering its probaly not going to change much at all just the floor count.

I found this site on the web for the tower:

Click on Projects then click on Denver on the Map. It still shows a 50 story tower, but it says construction to start 2007. Hmmmm interesting.

Eh, who knows. Does anyone really know. It's funny their website still touts the Four Seasons moniker. I've also noticed that they;'ve added a new domain name to their site.
