The Centre for New Industries and Technology (CNIT) on the left, is reported to have the largest continuous glass panel in the world.
Garden sculpture.
The small circular object on the right of the metal structure is the lift. Ascending and descending in a this is a must-do for everyone. It feels almost as if you're flying, because the whole lift is glass. Not for the faint hearted though!!

thats pretty crazy. i like how its laid out.....kind of like a larger more function mirror of the Arc de Triomphe, which is directly visible from the Grande Arch.
does the grand arch have offices in it? I always thought from the angles that I have seen that it was a useless empty box, but if it has offices in it then I would actually think it's pretty cool
The stripy object is one the many sculptures that inhabit La Defense.
The two sides of the building have government offices in them, accessible by escalators and lifts at their bases, while the top is an exhibition centre.
Not sure about the heliport - you could only go to one side of the roof facing the Arc de Triomphe, while everything else was taped off.
The building is at an angle of 6 degrees to the Arc to accommodate its foundations. This is because underneath it is a Metro station, RER station and a motorway.
