^^^I really like that one and for those interested in Oakland's slightly grittier parts (but far from the worst), the entire Adams Point Thread is required viewing, but I just have to paste in this shot from it because it's such an "Oh, wow!" experience (it floored me):

We really need an East Oakland thread. Any takers? There is soo much there- fruitvale, High St, Park, the colliseum, diamond, E-14th, montclair. C'mon, I only get down there every 6 months or so...

The photos looking across the bay are some of the more impressive pictures Ive seen of San Francisco. Very nice.

Hot pics of the most attractive urban area on earth. I'll be in the Bay Area early next month and can't wait; riding cable cars in San Francisco, sipping wines in Napa Valley and now (thanks to your thread) heading over to Berkeley and Oakland for some solid views of the Bay. I'm long overdue for some great food from what has to be one of the most pricey vegetarian restaurant in the U.S.: The Greens of Fort Mason (well worth it though).
