On Halloween, I flew up to Seattle where I spent the afternoon up in the Space Needle and in Capitol Hill. The next morning, November 1st, I took the Victoria Clipper up to Victoria where I spent 5 days. I then returned to Seattle the evening of Sunday, November 5th. I purposely scheduled my departure for Houston very late the next night so that I could have all day Monday (Nov 6th) to explore some of the neighborhoods in Seattle. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and I got stuck with one of the wettest days Seattle has experienced in several years. Heavy rain & lots of flooding kept me mainly downtown, though I did make it to Pioneer Square and also I had to make sure I checked out Pike Street Market. Due to rain most of the time I was there, I only took photos my first two days there (Oct 31st & Nov 1st). Unfortunately I don't really have any neighborhood photos. As I mentioned, November 6th was suppose to be a day full of Seattle neighborhood explorations if it hadn't been for the heavy rainfall. And in Victoria, much of my time was spent at the Save On Foods Memorial Arena for a figure skating competition. So these aren't the best photos (not comprehensive in the least), but I'll post them anyway. Sorry I didn't really get any neighborhood shots, but I'll get some in the future. I absolutely *loved* Seattle and I'll definitely be back at some point in the near future hopefully. Victoria was beautiful as well!
(btw,
here's a link to the photos I posted from the gorgeous Butchart Gardens outside of Victoria... my timing was perfect for beautiful fall foliage)
