Your quick reply tells me that my input isn't appreciated here.

I can tell you either don't live in Regina, or you're one of those people that doesn't know anything about the city. You're just spewing out false myths about downtown Regina, and
at best, half-truths
1) Yes, there are less people in downtown after 5, but it doesnt empty, not even close. My girlfriend lives downtown and some nights its hard to find a parking space, even at 10 or 11pm, I also see people walking around at night all the time, and I always see people in the coffee shops at night, especially Atlantis, but the new Aegean Coast coffee place is starting to become popular as well.
2) There
are nightclubs downtown, including one of the city's most popular bars
3) boarded up buildings? I don't see
any boarded up buildings in downtown Regina, there are some vacant lots and empty buildings, but no worse than any other downtown in a comparible sized city. In fact, I think downtown Regina is in better shape than most downtowns
4) If you don't work downtown you don't go downtown?
Totally false. Want proof? I go downtown all the time, and I've never worked in the area.
5) There will be a grocery store very soon, as CCF said.
6) Steady decline of the area?

haha, I don't know where to start with this one.. in the last year alone,
numerous condos have been developed downtown, a
new hotel is under construction, the former hudson bay building was
redeveloped, 2
new large popular coffee shops, number of businesses has
increased, a
beautiful new bus depot and STC HQ is currently under construction, "Victoria Place" is adding 4 floors to keep up with luxury condo demand downtown.
not to mention the population of downtown has skyrocketed in recent years
That's just what I could think of off the top of my head! And there's much more to come this year!
Sure, Downtown Regina could be better, no one's arguing that, but it's in better shape than most downtowns in cities under 200,000.. MUCH better shape.
but thanks for trolling
