Excellent. Broadway is sort of a strip-mall-hell for a couple miles up that way, bit by bit it should be densified like this. It's also nice that theres signs of a desire for high density inching inwards from the lakefront.

On the north elevation, they do not appear to be breaking the curtain as they are here. On the east side, I wonder if they are going to alternate between painted slabs and clad slabs, as seen in the photo? I am not sure how this could be an aesthetic success... I'll hold my breath.

It's okay. I'd like to see more detailed renderings. Whenever things are at such a great distance like this rendering, it's really hard to tell whether you like something or not. Anyway, I know you'll all like the height. The 48-story floor number isn't a typo.

The roof height is 542'-8" according to the PD Application. Of coursewell get more solid numbers once we look at the blueprints.

It appears to me from the photo that the curtainwall may be discontinuous at the corners and every other floor or every three floors. I'm just speculating that the exposed slab might remain on certain floors, simply being painted instead of clad in aluminum or something else.

In the rendering, one sees white stripes breaking the floors into distinct groups of three. Those white stripes probably represent the condition I'm describing. I was hoping they would have some kind of nifty change in the cladding at these points rather than just painting the slabs.

The 500'+ height is great, as there's not much room for new development in the area. There's 1 or 2 other chances to help soften 311 SW and this tower will do a good job of it. I still see a poor tower, but the building program is exciting.

I see; from the rendering, every third floor might have an exposed concrete slab, and the photo doesn't appear inconsistent with that. Ok, but I would think that it would end up looking sufficiently weird that they probably wouldn't adopt that approach, particularly for an LSD building, and particularly for its LSD face. At least I hope.

....just a couple of quick qestions.....what is all the concrete work around the base of the Parkview West ? ...is there a 2nd tower ? ....also, isn't MoMo near topping out ? ...it wasn't all that tall to begin with ?

Well, remember Parkview West has underground parking.

MoMo is close to topping out the elevator cores.

^ Yes, the park is essentially a grade-level green roof over the parking.
