ok ok....ill stop....but it is beginning to really frustrate me how these buildings arent legendary, arent picasso, arent rocket science....yet are stunning forms of architecture that follow simple lines most of the time, use high %'s of glass, and quality materials.

Edmonton...listen up...cause we are falling behind...even with our progress in the past 2-3 yrs.

sick of it....absolutely sick of it.

ok...i need a beer.

^Oh...Dr. Sydora's office (P538B) is gone. He's my astro prof. Good times now dust. Up to this day, I still have vivid memories of the fifth floor.

Just saw the news regarding affordable housing on future school property. Where can I find a website that shows where will all the affordable housing be built? I got a feeling many of these areas can potentially be a booster for Edmonton transit's ridership because of its density.

why dont we start a new thread called... "Post Pictures of Buildings Proposed for other Cities and wish they were in Edmonton"

this could be one of them
"suppose we build a large wooden badger" on the stationlands

or a larger Ukrainian Easter Egg on one of the fountains at the Alberta Legislature. Take that Vegreville.

Gonna try this again.....maybe somebody in the buiness can enlighten me. Is it really that hard to get tenants here in Edmonton. We have a pretty decent city I think....good arts scene......hell of a lot cheaper to build here than say Cal, Van, or To....rents would be atleast $10 a foot cheaper....with developers still being able to make good coin....what the hell am I missing....half these friggin buildings Cold posted should already be undercunstruction here for pete's sake or at least 2-3 of them.?

Nothing worse then experiencing the biggest boom in history and having nothing to show for it.

out of all my years on this forum, the only thing that has been built here worth mentioning for me is one river park....and perhaps the jasper properties. kind of disappointing considering how the city and region is growing. the icon is alright, but kind of "meh" for my liking. century park looks pretty bad — though, can't wait to catalogue its progress.

at least the infrastructure (LRT, AHD and such) are going good.

/\ I can add to that list.

Jasper Properties, Illuminada, & HRIF.

But I agree, it's time to step up. Things will change, indeed they will.
