He means where Designer Depot was before they relocated within the mall. They used to be on the north side across from the H&M - I think it was originally a Forever 21 when the mall first opened?

Thanks.
I didn't realize there was a Designer Depot there
- thought that was more of an Eastern Canada chain.

Yeah thats the spot I was guessing too for Uniqlo, its a big space. There is a Designer Depot in Surrey Central Mall, just as craptastic.

Sorry missed this.. Designer Depot moved to the Saks Off 5th space. FYI- DD parent is the same company 'bringing back' Zellers.

Lululemon has a new store under construction. 3 times larger than their current Outlet location. Not sure if they will change it from an 'Outlet' store.. keep the Outlet store separate.. or....? New store opens July 10.

Ron.

Edited to update opening date.

Hmmm - and Lululemon closed their Amazing Brentwood store (although someone on Reddit said it was just a pop-up)...

It should be an Outlet, the closest one I know of is in the Seattle Outlet mall, and it's much bigger than the one we have, I would guess at least double the size. On busy weekends, there is usually a long line up to get into the store at Tsawwassen.

While most on this forum are not the target group, the recently added FlyO'Land indoor park is incredibly fun for kids. I read that Nanaimo has also had one of these open.

This place is guaranteed to make you sweat!

There are so many slides and so much to do!

Towards the bak there are even more areas for play.

I can see it being a lot of fun to have your birthday in here.

Tsawwassen Mills is also otherwise a lot of fun for kids.

Next door, a rather weird store had opened up since our last visit. Question is, how long will it last with such a niche business idea...

The new food court looks awesome and was very busy. I wasn't aware of such being built, but I like their implementation. Besides food stalls, there are also small stalls selling stuff to the side of the food court.

For us, Tsawwassen Mills is a destination that we drive to couple of times a year and do spend money in. Considering how controversial it was originally and how much concern there was over the takeover by a Chinese billionaire, I think it is evolving in an interesting way and is pretty unique in Metro Vancouver.

Tsawwassen Mills Marks 10 Years with H Mart, TM Wander and New Entertainment Uses

My guess is that H-Mart will be in the former Saks OFF5th.

Designer Depot just moved to the Saks Off 5th space and Uniqlo took their old space. There are other spaces available through the mall.. it might be handy for H-Mart to have their own external entrance.

Muji location should be open soon... they're (Muji) promoting it on their socials.

I know this is a bit of an old comment to be replying to, but they're apparently still losing money according to the Ruby Liu / HBC drama.

This article says they lost $19M in 2 years at her 3 malls. Not exactly a money printing machine.

I mean she'll have to dump some cash into them to find some way to make money on them either with better retail performance or housing redevelopment.

Thanks!

Maybe they move the FlyOLand kids centre to have it across from TM Wander?

Seems the most likely since it's 30,000 square feet and there's an empty space between it and Montana's BBQ. There's a loading dock right next to it as well

H Mart is expected to become the next significant anchor addition at Tsawwassen Mills, with the supermarket set to occupy an approximately 30,000-square-foot anchor space at the shopping centre. Liu told Retail Insider that the opening is currently targeted for around Christmas 2027. Central Walk has already begun preparing the space and coordinating its turnover to allow time for design, approvals and construction.
