Of interest - but outside Metro Vancouver...

H-Mart and TM Wander... at Woodgrove
H-Mart, Haidilao and TM Wander... at Mayfair

(although wasn't "TM" = Tsawwassen Mills?)
... plus an undisclosed international retailer in negotiations for both...
Maybe Daiso? Uniqlo already has a store at Mayfair.

There will be a new atrium in the middle of the Mayfair Hudson's Bay space.
Reminds me of the "stage" at Oakridge, but with a platform.

Muji is opening at Mayfair. H-Mart already has a store at Mayfair.

I don't think Muji is much of a draw. Didn't they close one at Guildford?

They recently opened a Muji at Tsawwassen Mills.. so they must like doing business with Lui.

I find that is rather typical of posts on that site... at least somewhat exaggerating the facts of an announcement, to the point where it can come across like an undisclosed advertorial for the article subject. Recalling they were pretty big cheerleaders for Liu's attempted purchase of the HBC leases, even as other outlets were poking holes in her plan.

Not sure what's going on there but I've also noticed recently they have been editing photos with AI to the point they become slop, but not mentioning AI was used.
