City and property owners have been meeting to fix the road alignments for the future developments along Kilally Rd in NE London. The London Plan doesn't meet expectations.

WHAT IS A CHICANE?

A chicane is a zigzag-shaped curve built into a road to slow traffic through “horizontal deflection,” requiring drivers to make lateral movements. They are used on racetracks after straightaways to slow drivers, but also on regular roads as a traffic-calming measure.

Basically curb extensions taken to the max. Better than speed humps/bumps, but it looks like it's just 1 lane there?

Will a snowplow take a chunk out of it this winter?

Candidates propose changing procurements and tenders to shorten construction projects. Two shifts a day and Saturday work in some cases in order to move major road construction faster.

An interim traffic signal is proposed at Bradley and Old Victoria Rd.

Yeah might be a good idea considering the high speeds and big trucks rolling thru this intersection.

The traffic on Wonderland south of Exeter Rd all the way to Highway 3 is dramatically higher now. Like Highbury Ave crashes will continue to increase.
