Unless the parking allotment is beyond unreasonably pitiful, I think that'd be a terrible decision to not open a T&T there as planned. Just gives a competitor an opportunity. It would be a perfect location for a H-Mart or Hannam instead. Sungiven too, but they already have a store at Gilmore and Hastings.

A Sungiven would be nice at that location, considering the Hastings & Gilmore building was recently sold (including the Peaked Pies unit), and they are currently trying to get out of their lease at the Greystone location.

I doubt they'll be kicked out until they can get zoning for 20+ stories for any future BRT/Skytrain TOD at Willingdon/Hastings.

The offices probably took around 100 spots so there's still proabably ~600 spots left of commercial spaces. T&T would be a better draw than Sungiven as an anchor tenant.

The T&T CEO gave an update on instagram saying that they were stuck trying to get their permit approved by the city. It’s been approved now so they’re working on the unit and she reaffirmed that T&T is still coming to Gilmore Place

According to DailyHive T&T told them they're anticipating a Fall 2026 opening now.

Upon inquiry, T&T Supermarket told Daily Hive Urbanized the Gilmore Place store will open in Fall 2026.

The sidewalk has been closed for a few weeks and they were removing the protected walkway containers the other day. Not sure if it was just for replacement or something else.

There is a huge T&T sign on the South side near the Gilmore Street side that says "Coming Soon" or something like that. Also new signage with tenant signs in it, so far only BOM isin it.
