I think ASL in this area is only around 20-30 feet but not totally sure.

The DOB specifically deals with real numbers. At that point, its beyond any approval, and just what the developer intends to build. All plans have to be reviewed for any type of construction in the city, but if you want to know what's really being built, it's in the DOB that you will find it (for example, actual number of floors). Of course, everything is subject to change by developers, at which point that would be reflected in the DOB documents. But there are a million things they are looking at, and the few documents they do post for the public to review take time. For example, the zoning diagram for 625 Madison is still for the 1,300 ft supertall. We know that's since been changed.

As far as the FAA goes, they will give both structure and elevation heights. But they do it a little differently now than they used to. Sometime the BMU height is given as the structure height. Sometimes it is filed separately. But this one hasn't received final sign off like the other supertalls, so it just feels like a delay.

Didn't realize this site was so high up, 1,469' could be the new AMSL then.

At either height, this is going to leave a mark on the skyline....

I agree. It's going to be absolutely iconic.

It'll fill the gap nicely but at 1,406' the difference with the neighbors won't be noticeable at all. Just three 1,400 foot buildings with flat tops.

I do hope 175 gets built someday and breaks 1,500 feet.

It will be as noticeable as the other giants you see pictured above, even at 1,413 ft.

The DOB states 1,477' ASL so if 1,469' is accurate it'll be a little shorter, as long as it's taller than its neighbors I don't care but I hope they don't just keep shortening it.

I'm guessing the outdoor terraces will be public in this building, looks so from the rendering. You'd think that'd be a given these days but they're not at 270 Park Avenue surprisingly.

1,413 ft. That’s all you need to know right now. That’s all you’ve got.

270 Park Avenue is occupied and owned by a single tenant, JP Morgan. 350 Park Avenue is owned by Vornado/Citadel and will house multiple tenants. 350 Park Avenue also will not be the headquarters of Citadel like 270 Park Avenue is the headquarters of JP Morgan. Citadel is headquartered down here in Miami.

Correct. It will only be their New York headquarters. But at more than 1 msf, still more in this tower than in the actual headquarters tower in Miami. Griffin is also the majority owner here, though that is separate from Citadel itself.

Quote:
In connection with the development, Citadel Enterprise Americas LLC will enter into a 15-year, 1.05 million square foot anchor lease at the property to serve as its primary New York City office.

The joint venture will be owned 60% by KG, 36% by Vornado and 4% by Rudin.

Somec Group co. #FabbricaLLC, part of the Horizons division and a specialist in high-tech engineered façade systems for civil architecture, has secured and announced to the market a landmark contract for 350 Park Avenue, the new office tower Vornado Realty Trust is developing in the heart of Midtown #Manhattan. The scope covers the engineering and installation of over 83,600 m² of curtain walling.

Founded in 2016 and part of the Somec Group since 2018, Fabbrica designs and delivers bespoke, design-led building envelopes for leading architecture studios across New York and New England, operating from its headquarters and production facilities in Windsor, CT, with an office in New York and dedicated design and manufacturing sites in Canada and Italy. Designed by Foster + Partners, 350 Park Avenue will rise around 448 metres across 62 floors, spanning some 176,500 m² and set to be one of the tallest towers on the city's skyline, with full-height glazing and curved façade elements placing the external envelope at the centre of the building's architectural identity.

Yeah, 1,470 is an improvement. Not a huge difference, but if this becomes official, it's very good news.

Cautiously optimistic but they could have just gotten it from the post referring to ASL
