It's is true. Cash was offered, fundraised cash from the Conservative coffers. Absolutely disgraceful.

Apparently this is just the tip of the iceberg and there is a lot of dirty laundry that is about to be aired about KLF.

I hope she crashes and burns before any election and the Conservatives can get a centrist like Ian Black in as leader.

the current conservative party was hobbled together just months before the last election and came within a seat of winning a majority.

A serious small c conservative party with proper candidates can easily win in an election still years away.

That's a weird take. The obvious answer is the far right wing took over the party and elected a terrible leader who is unpopular, unelectable by the general public, and apparently doing some really shady things.

The BC Conservatives were probably doomed when KLF was elected leader if you ask me, but there's nothing stopping the BC Conservatives from running candidates against the leavers.

IMO the BC Conservatives don't have the wherewithal to effectively serve as an alternative to the NDP and to hold them accountable. They're just their own brand of kooky.

She said Findlay had made "serious and unfounded accusations" about her, "including remarks that called my allegiance to Canada into question" and that Findlay had not apologized.

"I cannot continue to sit in a caucus led by someone who has questioned my loyalty without evidence and, when given the opportunity to correct the record, has failed to do so," Wat said in the release.

...I was going to quip this morning that she probably dragged everyone into a meeting an warned everyone that if one more person left she'd have their head on a spike, but that that seemed somewhat extreme.

Well, now. Two in a day has probably made her take up drinking and smoking.

I voted for her in the leadership election and was honestly feeling somewhat optimistic for the future here when Findlay won the leadership.

Now with these idiot defectors it feels there is no hope here, I fully expect to probably have to declare bankruptcy in the next decade the way things are going. It really feels hopeless. Canadians are our own worst enemies.
