Also maybe a flyover of the soon-to-be-under-construction Highway 99 tunnel would be cool.

And like I suggested before, Squamish+Britannia Beach would be a great one. So much has gone on over the last few years there!

Thanks.
Here is SFU: https://youtu.be/NxZUYXFoNHc?si=QotebUBRTa7UVD2x

Highway 99 also available, but I’ll be making a new one too soon.

Squamish and Britannia is also on my mind.

Willingdon road work is for a new watermain connection for the Kwasen development. There was also a watermain leak.

Quote:
August 20 update: Crews will be working at the intersection of Willingdon Avenue and Kwasen Way on Tuesday, August 25. Traffic on Willingdon Avenue will be reduced to a single lane in both directions while a watermain connection is installed for the new Kwasen development. Access to BCIT and the development site will remain available from both directions.
Traffic impacts: Willingdon Ave & Canada Way
A water main leak at Willingdon Avenue and Canada Way requires emergency repair work beginning tonight.
Road closures will be implemented starting at 6:30 pm. Work is anticipated to be completed by Saturday afternoon and fully reopened to traffic. Access to Highway 1 will be maintained. Please follow onsite detour signage and instructions from traffic control personnel.
Please plan ahead and expect delays in the area. We appreciate your patience while crews complete this important repair to maintain our water infrastructure.

Is that the one that was stalled for a couple of years with the pit already excavated?

I saw some lights turned on, on the scaffolding and walkway set up - though I couldn't tell if it was any life bubbling up or just regular security lights.

It would be great to finally get this one off the ground and building again.

You are welcome. Solo - I’ve being watching forever crazy to think how long it takes…my first photo post goes back to Nov 12, 2018!!!
Brentwood will be very different next year, SOLO is the only project active west of Willingdon Avenue, many other projects near completion, with only Brentwood Block to remain most impactful visually wise, since everything else will be topped out. Unless there will be some new construction starts…

There's an excavator on site.

The first one I've seen there in almost 3 years. I guess there was still some work to go to completing the pit excavation.

Stuff around the work site is still tarped up, but it seems pretty likely that work continuation is immenent - probably in the next couple of weeks.
