Yep. This and the complex behind it. There was an update here few pages back of active renovations. Just took these photos.

Looking more into it I'm not sure if the buildings behind this are involved. They are a set of gated townhomes built in 2009. I don't know if they are actually abandoned. In my last photo one appears to be boarded up, either it was boarded up before the fire or possibly after from being damaged.

Sorry if I didn't mention it clearly, but the illustration came before the renderings. Meaning commercial space has been omitted from the initial plans. Phase II is still expected to have retail.

Up to Oltorf in a couple of years South Lamar is going be as built up as any corridor outside downtown.

Demo was recently approved for all three warehouses on site. There is no site plan on file, but the site was rezoned for DB90 in 2024. So multi-family is likely.

Interesting that a sign for new low income housing just went up at 6200 Manchaca too.
