I didn't see the project on their website although apparently they are the suppliers. Do you have a link to the page?

1,469' ASL seems high for that area so probably not referring to sea level.

Major update for Ken Griffin’s 350 Park Ave. tower plans as steel company takes on massive haul

By Steve Cuozzo
Aug. 16, 2026

Quote:
In case you still had any lingering doubts about plans for a new skyscraper at 350 Park Ave.:

Banker Steel, based in Lynchburg, Va., is fabricating 50,000 tons of structural steel for the tower. It isn’t something you can just set aside for a rainy day.
Quote:
Demolition of older buildings on Park Avenue and East 52nd Street is underway for the 62-story, 1469-foot tall cloudbuster to be completed in 2032.

The development team consists of Citadel founder Ken Griffin, Vornado Realty Trust and the Rudin organization.

Two of Griffin’s companies, Citadel and Citadel Securities, are the anchor tenants with about half of the $4.5 billion tower’s 1.8 million square feet. Foster + Partners is the architect of record.
Quote:
Vornado chairman Steven Roth said on the firm’s second-quarter earnings call earlier this month that work is proceeding on schedule and he expects the joint-venture partnership deal to close in September. Roth noted he had a $3.3 billion construction loan “ready to go.”

This is going to be incredible.

The Colgate building and 400-410 Park must also be redeveloped.

The zoning envelope is for a 1,600 ft+ building, so if there’s something to it, it’ll show up eventually in filings. The FAA determination has been stalled, so maybe they will submit anew. Or, maybe nothing has changed. Time will tell.

It’s odd to show the old design, but I welcome all news about this icon, including 1,469 foot height figure.

At 1,469 ft it would be taller than the Sears Tower! Keeping my fingers crossed!

That's why I didn't post it when I posted that article above. Don't need the endless questions about a design change. Just some intern grabbed the wrong image on file.

At that height, if it were standing today, it would be the second tallest office building in the country, tallest to roof height. It would be the 3rd tallest overall. I actually hope it's that height, anything to differentiate it more from 432 Park and 270 Park in height. That would be better for all of them.

^ They’re taking more than half. Their lease is for over 1 msf. It’s been steadily going higher, and could increase again. But the remaining space will be for higher, premium rates. Think One Vanderbilt.

Billionaire bets big on Miami — but is still building a skyscraper in New York

By Luisa Yanez
AUGUST 17, 2026

Quote:
Miami billionaire Ken Griffin’s plans to build one of Manhattan’s tallest skyscrapers are moving forward, with a Virginia steelmaker preparing to process 50,000 tons of structural steel for the massive project.

The update, reported by the New York Post on Sunday, offers another sign that Griffin remains committed to a major New York presence even as his financial empire has increasingly centered its operations in Miami.

The 62-story, 1,469-foot tower at 350 Park Ave. is expected to be completed in 2032. Griffin’s Citadel and Citadel Securities will be the anchor tenants, occupying roughly half of the building’s 1.8 million square feet, the Post reported.
Quote:
For Miami, where Griffin moved Citadel’s headquarters in 2022 and where he's also planning to build a 1,049-foot tower massive headquarters in Brickell, the New York skyscraper is a reminder that the billionaire’s influence extends well beyond South Florida. Griffin is simultaneously reshaping Miami’s financial landscape while maintaining a major corporate and real estate footprint in New York.

Second highest? This is malarkey per se. 350 Park will get the highest rents. Since Related decided to play limbo with a stumpy, underwhelming tower at 625 Madison, no one will pay more to look at the back of the GM Building than here.

This icon will smash all records. Also, with the new medians, Park will be a much nicer location than Madison anyway.

“Griffin’s 350 Park Ave. tower expected to fetch city’s second-highest office rents.”

Hm, maybe the 1,469' is legit, but never underestimate the ability of even fairly credible sources to mess up numbers. I would think the steel company would know though, fingers crossed.

The same Miami Herald article lists Miami's HQ as being 1,049' when it was chopped about 100 feet this year so that's outdated.
