I mentioned this on another post, but I got to see the library and Odenak in-person for the first time this past weekend. Walking towards down Albert Street towards the library was impressive. The whole area, with the all the landscaping, looked amazing. Standing on the Booth Street bridge and looking at all the construction, it felt like I was in a different city. Ottawa has come a long way since I moved there in 2009. It's interesting that some of my friends in the city didn't even know a new library was being built and they work for some important organizations.

Truly an impressive building and landmark. I can really see Watson's vision now. Top tier library with Vancouver, Calgary and to a lesser extent, Halifax (it's nice, but it's not a stand out landmark imo).

Edmontons library looks like a bus terminal. What on earth were they going for with that?

Yeah, Edmonton's renovated central library looks absolutely horrendous. Boggles the mind how that was approved.

Thanks for posting all these updates General!

I wonder if Adisoke will end up having a similar profile and prominence as the Calgary Central Library. Seems every Calgary tour videos I watch, the Library is named as one of the top attractions.
