One of the first projects to redevelop the former ESCO property in Northwest Portland is taking shape.
Public records show housing nonprofit Mercy Housing NW filed an application for early zoning assistance for a housing project at 2480 N.W. Wilson St. The application showed Mercy Housing would develop the property in two phases.

Possible plans emerge for fire-damaged Elephants Delicatessen



Plans for the fire-damaged Elephants Delicatessen in Goose Hollow appear to be emerging with food carts and a food hall proposed.

According to early assistance request from Koble Creative Architecture to the city of Portland, the applicant wants to renovate the existing 10,400 square foot structure.

The building's proposal includes a bar space and tenant restaurant spaces, according to the request. The ground level would offer indoor dining and kitchen space while the basement could include restrooms and food cart prep and storage.
