Update for the crew....I AM MOVING TO CHICAGO!! Work approved my relocation so I will be there by EOY. I cannot wait for this new chapter.

And for the love of god, whatever you do, don't put any ketchup on your your fucking hot dog!

Nice choice - I made the move in 2021 - Bought a condo in early 2022 and haven't looked back.

Don't bother in preparing for winter - Best way to prepare for winter is find friends in warm locations and go work remotely there during Jan/Feb/March

Moving to Chicago was the best thing I ever did for myself and my time there was likely the most transformative and fulfilling. I'm still a bit bitter that life took my away from there.
