Given the more recent posts, I do think it's time the OP and the thread title get changed to reflect the actual proposed storeys of the latest design.

Looking at the November Proposal, it is now called St. Bernard Square again and will be 23.14m tall.

Well, for a single six story building, is there even a need for it's own thread? But I guess its here already so.......

Any changes to a thread title or specifications has to be done by a mod.

The local mod for NB is mylesmalley. You can DM him and he will respond. I have done this several times recently and the changes have been made within 24 hours.

Look on the lower right corner of the Atlantic Canada Subforum page and you will find his name. Click on the name and it will bring you to his page. From there you can get his contact information and send him a request.

I have no complaints about the height of this project, my only dislike is the wood framing. You can insulate all you want between floors, you're still going to hear that neighbor above walking on their heels. That would drive me up the walls and move out immediately.

I live five blocks away in a two floor side by side duplex currently converting into a single household dwelling (20 rooms ). I'm a retired 63 yr old and plan on selling in about 2-3-4 years or whenever I get tired of shoveling snow and mowing my lawn.

I'm eyeing The Three Sisters as my destination. However, any apartments constructed with a wood frame is automatically out of the question for me.

I'm in the 6 storey (concrete floors) building on Campbell and it's remarkably quiet. You can hear music and louder noises as you walk down the hall (through their doors) but when you are in the unit it's dead quiet. The walls may be drywall on steel stud (most likely) but I assume somewhat insulated for sound.

God I'm getting really tired of "spitfire" designed buildings in this city...no character, style, ugly bland buildings.

This photo is from several days ago, but I was on PEI most of the week, and I have difficulty getting BBB codes from Flickr on the Flickr app for my cellphone. I imagine that excavation has progressed further.

I wonder if this project will need a full tower crane Amico’s other projects recently have no where near the size of a footprint this one does.

I'm banking on a tower crane.

Trevor Ritchie's first plan for this property being an 18 storey building gives me some hope that some day this developer will break free from the 6 floor building category. We're obviously a few years away, but I really hope we see it happen. There's still a lot of undeveloped land downtown.

I’m am hopeful some of the developers developing in the downtown this year go on to other larger projects. The developer of 20 Cameron Street has two other buildings planned for that block the, being height unknown maybe they could go taller.

Crane’s up today. It’s a mini-crane and not a full-fledged tower.

Isn’t Ashford developing that property?

No. I think they own some of the property but it’s a Dieppe based developer.

I passed by the site today and there’s no crane. Maybe you seen the one at 45 Lewis Street.
