Edmonton owned by MTL and maybe a good mid-season grounding for this team.

Going to see Elks Argo next weekend and hope we get back on track.

Love that you can tailgate, we are missing it here in BC

Any idea on how they will configure Commonwealth with the new field dimensions? Almost seems like they should skew it to the one end with the fieldhouse otherwise both endzones will be VERY far away

I was hoping for 25k+ due to the weather, but there is momentum with this team/org and its fanbase.

The tailgate is quite late established now and very popular.

Modernization is a tough balance, but stats help me see the real story
For live updates on how rule changes affect game flow, I use rubiscore.com to track scores and trends across leagues
It keeps me informed without the noise and I find it useful for comparing how different styles of football actually play out on the field

Then why did every single change either copy, or move the rule closer to the NFL version?

Why was nothing innovative or unique?

How does making the field incompatible with every soccer, rugby, and existing football field in the country, "grow the game". They all had goal posts at 100m/110yards, now they won't.

Tremendously pleased, and intrigued, to see that amateur and university football will not be following the CFL in adopting the new American-style rules.

This could create a real schism between the CFL and university sides at shared stadiums, to say nothing of furthering the perception that the CFL will no longer be playing Canadian football.

Calgary looked low due to weather, but otherwise things looked pretty good from the TV.

Calgary was 25,698
Hamilton was 25,274 (standing room sold over capacity)
Sask was 34,352 (standing room sold over capacity)
Montreal was 22,752 (283 short of a sell out)

So overall a great weekend

DAZN has already hired Chris Streveler for the 2027 CFL season. He is also doing some NFL stuff this year, so I think it is content like this that is going to help fans cross over to both leagues. Here is his post below.
