I've been watching several YouTube channels of people in other countries reacting to videos about Canada. Apparently Ontario only has about 1km total of land border with the U.S out of the total 2,760km border, the rest is all water.
I've never really given it much thought but after going on google earth in satellite view I can't even find 1km.
Thunderbay to Ft Frances area is more than a km.

Some cottage country. Endless lakes, waterways, forests, towns and villages to explore. For many in Ontario their fondest memories are tied to cottage country, and there is a strong calling to return. All in all it is a vibe.
A lot of tourist videos have been falling into my feed lately, I started watching this thinking I would hate it, but I ended up learning a lot about the Trent.
For the Trent Severn, I worked with a guy who sailed with his friend from Midland to Whitby. I would love to travel the whole thing one summer, but I'd need to be rich because I'd need the type of boat to do it and a captain to sail it because I ain't doing all that work. I'd be sitting on the stern trolling a line out hoping for a bite.
Then I'd go the Great Loop of eastern North America.
