This project is worthy of its own thread. Renderings were shared at a community meeting. Twin buildings.

The developer keeps postponing the Planning Commission hearings about the ZC. So there is very little new info available. The only update to the ZC filing since December was a traffic analysis in May. At that time, the project was listed as having 632 RUs, ~40K Sq Ft strip retail plaza and a restaurant.

I take it the delay is from them still gaining feedback from the Skyview Neighborhood before final submission. Latest meeting is scheduled for August 11th. Here’s the details so far:

- Still planned as 632 units
- Tower #1, 23-stories, 311 units
- Tower #2, 23-stories, 321 units
- Architect Hailey Studio
- Ground floor and pad site retail

Nice find, Urbannizer. I was checking that NA's website to see if they posted any meeting files/Pics. But there was only a single mention of the ZC.

I really like it too, just wish those lower floors didn't look so much like parking garages (especially with that brutalist concrete design that doesn't help at all). I wonder if the reason for that is that it's a combination donut/tower?

Note this is is only the re-zoning with an associated concept, not a specific project development. This is purely a conceptual design at this stage, with no site plan.

I feel like they need to move the Highland station. It's so far up from the residential stuff in that area. It should be shifted further south towards this project.

Leave Highland alone and add an infill station between Koenig and 56th.

This would be more ideal. A 1,500 unit project (likely built in phases) is planning to start construction there before the end of the year.
