Both are opening on Mcphillips…

Pho Hoang will be opening on Mcphillips & Kingsbury in the same plaza as Buffet Square and Youngs Supermarket but not to be confused by the Youngs supermarket on Mcphillips street and Mountain Avenue

Pho No 1 will also be opening on Mcphillips street near Bannatyne in the former Pho Mama/Mama’s Noodle House building located at 141 mcphillips

Small update on the Little Sister in the Exchange District. The former Darling Bar/Forth Bar was not part of the sale, so that is being prepped for a separate sale. Hopefully, another bar steps up, as it's a nice space, especially the rooftop patio.

They're officially open, and the menu and cocktails are great. Same owership group as Cibos and James Ave Pumphouse. Should bring lots of liveliness to the area.

Yes finally the Pho #1 is open on McPhillips. Hope to stop by there soon.

Also there is a new middle eastern place on pembina close to grant called Ashur. Stopped by there week ago and it was pretty good. Barakas on Main is still my favorite but this new place was pretty good.

Word on the street is that the keg building will become a Hudsons, Canada's Pub....its a chain from Edmonton that started on Whyte Ave....now 5 locations in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon.

The connection is Hudson's and Greta are the same ownership based out of Edmonton, Chris DeCock.

Ashur has been there for several years now. I think they just got a new sign recently. I've been there a couple times, it's pretty good.

Are you serious? LOL I recently saw an ad for it online and decided to go down. I even said congrats for your new restaurant to the guys at the counter. I had driven by there many times and never noticed it.

The first time I was there was at least 2-3 years ago. The old sign above the door was really small and hard to notice.
