Interesting Substack article about forced treatment for homeless/addicted people. Apparently B.C. has been trying it for a couple of years now. Except for extreme cases where it can, as the article states, "...stabilize someone in an acute crisis, pull them through an overdose or a psychiatric emergency they might not have survived otherwise", forced treatment is proving to be very expensive and not very successful for B.C.
