There is no parking being constructed in association with any of the buildings. There will be limited parking along the rail high line and there is an existing parking on site.

That will be huge for Winnipeg. I always enjoyed the Forks, but it felt so disconnected from downtown with the train tracks and sea of parking in between. Can't do anything about the trains, but this is the best change for the parking.

I would love to travel back in time to 1914 just before the Panama Canal opened and stunted growth in Winnipeg and Just before WWI.

Those picture don't do the Exchange District in Winnipeg justice. Walking through it, you feel like you're in a major American city in the 1910s. The City (and building owners) did a really great job preserving the heritage and character of the area.

I can picture it filling in with some small modern towers on those scattered surface lots. It has so much great potential.

One of the better shots that captures just how long the skyline stretches for our a city of our size (82st-124st) and a wee bit of the south side skyline and UofA.
