To be honest i don't think most of us are too worried about it.

Have any of the residents or retail moved in yet?

I'm not sure why there are no updates on this development, but yes, folks have moved into the north tower. It might be about a quarter to half full. That should fill up with fall, university students, and the south tower construction getting done.

I haven't seen any retail rented out yet. It's still a bit messy at ground level. But I am amazed, after all, that they got this far.

Overall, the development looks like a north tower of 24fl and a south tower of 25fl. The large windows on the south tower at the 25th floor might be more interesting than we realize at the moment. Future pics upon completion will tell. In the end, it's better than the parking lot that was there.

Note: 4LSaskatoon does provide pics, along with Circle33 on other threads. Thanks so much! But for example, there hasn't been an update on the library in months. It's just the way Saskatoon rolls. We're all high.

Getting there! Hopefully by the time the snow flies it's all enclosed.

It’s definitely giving a ‘modern communism’ compared to its neighbouring communism style condos you can see they get twice the light. Hopefully this project turned out to be a success for them that motivates them to build another 500 AFFORDABLE units on another downtown parking lot! Great job Baydo!! Only developer in town truely getting people right downtown.

Thanks for the update on the occupancy. According to their website: https://www.baydoapartments.ca/baydo-tower-1/default they have 115 units available in the north tower, with rents ranging from $1,300 - $1,880 monthly.

They're currently in year 7 of this build. Do you think they'll have the south tower done prior to hitting year 8 next May?

As I understand it, Baydo is pretty much done with Saskatoon now. Their focus has moved to developments in the Lower Mainland of BC.

Baydo currently have projects under construction in Saskatoon, Edmonton, and Burnaby.

Planned for Kelowna, Scarborough, and Coquitlam.

Wouldn't say they are really focusing on anywhere in particular right now.
