The new drone has definitely improved several aspects of filming. I’m now able to capture the entire length of the project. My next investment will be a set of filters, since the sunlight can sometimes be too intense.

Here is the latest progress on the launching gantries:

Surrey Sprinter: At 96 Avenue | 12 spans remaining to reach Green Timbers Station

Fleetwood Flyer: At 156 Street | 26 spans remaining to reach 152 Street Station

Clayton Clipper: Still too early to count the remaining spans…

Langley Launcher: At 64 Avenue | 28 spans remaining to reach Willowbrook Station

Sorry missed it somewhere, what drone do you use now? Also separately I think it will be fun to see which wins the race to the end, Surrey Sprinter or Fleetwood Flyer. They're pretty close. FF basically ends at 152nd and the SS needs to continue past Green Timbers but it isn't a very long stretch. I didn't look at the map but from the start of your video it looks like 12-15 spans at most between GT and KG so that seems to put the amount of spans about the same between them, just going to depend on how quickly it SS gets through the station I guess.

I made the comment before about how I thought that the Clayton Clipper is going slower that the other gantries. Then I thought of a question that relates more to this gantry than the others. Is it slower to install guideway segments in a curve over a straight section? I drove by the Clayton Clipper yesterday and there was an assortment of large gantry parts on the sidewalk and was wondering if that in the curve do they need to change parts on the gantry to fit the curve of the guideway? The Clayton Clipper has had most of its guideway segments have a curve in it.

I've been thinking the slower speed of the Clayton Clipper could do a need for the section ahead with precast and steel spans to complete work up to a specific stage before the gantry can pass through.

Dji Mini 5 Pro. The best part it has 4 batteries and also does 60fps in 4K but that also requires Final Cut Pro since iMovie maxes out at 4K 30fps. So I got that too.

Clayton Clipper - 9 spans remaining to reach pre-assembled concrete guideway span. If it advances 1 span per week - we should find out what’s happening mid September. Very much looking forward to that!

My Mini 3 Pro does 4Kp60 as well - but you have to reduce the frame rate to 30p in order to use certain features like tracking. Is that also true on the Mini 5 Pro?

You might consider DaVinci Resolve, free yet incredibly capable for anything you might be able to dream up.

Yes, the DJI Mini 5 Pro is fully capable of using its FocusTrack (ActiveTrack, Spotlight, and Point of Interest) modes while recording in 4K/60fps.
I'm kinda happy with Final Cut Pro. I do very basic editing so I don't need much.
60FPS in 4K is the way to go!!!

Approximate gantry progress based on odometer measurements taken yesterday evening:

• Surrey Sprinter: 2.3 km complete, 0.9 km remaining (~72%). Still has Green Timbers Station, pocket track, and Expo Line tie-in.
• Fleetwood Flyer: 2.5 km complete, 0.9 km remaining (~74%). No more stations ahead.
• Clayton Clipper: 0.9 km complete, 3.1 km remaining (~23%). Heading into the complex SFMSF connection and pocket track area.
• Langley Launcher: 2.1 km complete, 2.6 km remaining (~45%). Still needs to pass through Willowbrook Station.

Overall, the four gantries appear to be just over 50% complete by route length.

** All this adds up to 7.8/15.3 km. Google Maps says it's 15.6 km from the end of the Expo Line to 203 street along Fraser Hwy, so there are some minor rounding errors in my measurements.

There will be two access point to OMC5/SFMSF, one on either end of the site.

Looking closely on a 4K TV at the top of the supports it looks like there will be three parallel guideway spans between 5 & 6. This looks to also be the case between 9 and 10 so that jibes with a second access track to the OMC.

The arches (which are called "bents") could be where switches will be located, so extra width is required.
Personally I think it would be cool if they had enough redundancy to build a branch line to Cloverdale (though the yard) far in the future.

You might be onto something. I noticed the nub patterns at the top of the supports after I posted my question, but #6 looks something like this:

I wonder if the rectangular beam seats (====) are for precast spans that will be installed with cranes, and the 4 nubs are for the spans that will be installed by the Clayton Clipper?
