This is the best it's ever going to look. When the amusement park tower portion starts going up there will be no return.

ooooh are we coming to the lollipop stick soon? I wonder if it will be possible to determine based on the construction of it if the drop ride feature was all hot air in the end...

I was thinking the same too but now think there is the possibility that engineering specs may require construction of the top floor to be more complete (or more settled) to proceed with the unusual upper element of the building. It could be somewhat akin to adding a spire to a building -- they usually don't add it right after the building's office floors are topped, but the spire is put on a few weeks or even months later. But perhaps I am wrong....

The building will rise as usual, with the spine (the core) taking the elevators all the way to the top.
