An employee at the Dominion on the lake told me that the building is sold. I wonder if anyone has any plans for this property.

A Nespresso Store is coming to the Avalon Mall. They are hiring on Indeed. This will be the second location in Atlantic Canada.

That would be No Frills. It will replace the small one near Elizabeth Park.

Well That’s kinda disappointing. There are already two large Marshalls and two large Winners stores (same company) in metro. Marshalls is basically the same as Winners and Winners would be right next door in the mall. A bit redundant. But good to see that space getting occupied so quickly. Crombie REIT works fast.

Galway should have partnered with Crombie REIT instead of Plaza REIT.

Play It Again Sports across the street from the Village Mall will be closing on July 5th. There was previous attempts to find a new owner for the location but it seems as if those attempts were unsuccessful.

Another Dollarama

Not really St. John's, but Dollarama is opening in the old Marks in Mount Pearl. Seen it on the Smart Centres website.

Seems like the former Napa/Subway building on Commonwealth will soon be home to one too.
