It looks like the Marriott is doing the Great Streets treatment around their property. I don't think the City has any plans to upgrade the sidewalks on the rest of the block.

It would be nice if the city offered some sort of incentives or whatnot to encourage developers to do Great Streets on the streetscapes that are adjacent to their properties, not just on the streetscape directly in front of their properties.
