Gardens haven't been this green in years. But it is causing issues now. A number of local golf course are having issues. The Highlevel Bridge west sidewalk is closed because of ground slippage. Road construction is slowed. Lots of water standing in fields. Mind you I just picked some Saskatoons off of one of my trees and they are great, Big juicy and sweet.

Just so much rain these last two months. It doesn't even feel like Alberta this summer with the amount of humidity in the air. My yard smells like a lake, and I have moss growing in planters and in between decorative rocks, and mushrooms throughout my lawn. The "water-resistant" cushions for my patio set are completely waterlogged, and there haven't been enough rain-free days for them to dry out. After today, we have a week of hot, dry weather, but of course, right on time, smoke from fires in the NWT has arrived. At least the mosquitoes aren't as bad during the heat of the day. I really, REALLY, hope August and September are both hot and dry around here—The rain can go to the areas that need it right now.

Both mine an my neighbor's driveways are turning green with the water run off. and my front veranda has mold on it. I have to power wash it a second time. Have not had to fill my pond at all this year either.

A bit surprised to see Toronto and Windsor fell below 15C yesterday. I figured the humidity would have prevented that. Despite the drier weather, Montreal (YUL) hasn't dipped below 15C so far this month.

Sunday morning was down to 14.8 and Sunday was low humidity, the humidity returned Monday and Tuesday, now it's gone again for two days. We dropped to 14.8 again this morning. Back to our normal muggy weather on Friday.
