We still have smoke for another day, it should clear out tonight.
Yesterday's high was 29.9, and much less humid, humidex only 35.

Almost Ontario kind of day here. 22 and 86% humidity at 9am. Was just up on a roof to check a heat pump and was pouring sweat after 5 min. supposed to be 31 today, and continued warm for the next week. Hopefully we dry out.
Still lots of storm damage getting cleaned up. The Science centre is closed for at least 4 months from a sewage back up during the last storm. The neighboring Hemingway pool is also closed. Flooding knocked out the pour distribution.
Some was was recorded in the basement of the new Velodrome. Yellowhead trail is still partial closed. Could be closed through the weekend. I noticed a couple of community league have drop off areas for broken trees and limbs.
But great weather for the Triathalon and Taste of Edmonton.

Why complain about the weather? Its always going to be here. You on the other hand will not.
We had the forest smoke pretty bad the last couple days but today the air is as fresh as could be. There is a marine layer over the lake. Just a nice day in general.
Today is a bizarre day again in BC, it’s cool on the coast, there is a sharp line to high heat when you enter the interior, and the hotspot isn’t Ashcroft, Lytton or the South Okanagan around Osoyoos, but the North Okanagan around Salmon Arm, which was 38.5 last hour.
It was cool and rainy this morning, but pleasantly warm (22°) and sunny now. The rain also helped to clear up the hazy skies of the last few days too. Perhaps not the ideal summer weather, but considering the rest of the world is burning up (figuratively & literally) right now, I can't say we have it too bad.
