Obviously the changes to driveway width and front yard parking are blatantly ridiculous, but more interesting to me is how silly it is that such a fundamental regulation can be changed so willy-nilly from council to council given that the City originally was a 1 space per unit and the last council switched it to 0.5 per unit.

That's the kind of change that at a small scale seems like just an extra parking space for each house but on the neighbourhood scale completely destroys the environment and feel.
