Once the cartridge issue is resolved, will the go slow orders be removed?

So in short, the extension isn’t open yet because of some people’s incompetence somewhere in the chain.

They are missing Canada Day. Bets on missing Labour Day?

It won't be open by Labour Day but should open later in the fall.

Based on our tracking projections, we are roughly estimating (based on the current trend of trains returning) that they will have enough to start Trial Running in September.

You can find the latest train counts by visiting our tracker at tracker.railfans.ca

I am really curious how this might impact bus fleet plans. They seem to have been banking on Stage 2 East opening to reduce the required fleet size.

There was a double train set on the extension yesterday. First time I've seen that in several months!

A good explanation of the eastern extension’s delay, in the video, Shane. And a nice, and useful, LRV-tracking Webpage. (Although perhaps a trend-line might be even more useful than an average line, in the top graphs. That might give a better idea of the rate of fleet growth.)

[An aside question: Do you happen to know which LRVs have the Smart Sensors on the axles? I am wondering if they are the reason for Alstom requesting LRVs to be pulled. Tracking the development progress and installation of the sensors might be an idea for a future investigative video. After all, you seem to do a far better job of presenting updates than OC Transpo does.]

I'll see if I can add some logic to estimate a trend line. No guarantees on that.

For the smartbug, its about 3 trains from what i was last told.
