Why post random images of things when you're referencing something specific?

Well, it's not important. I just know I love Winnipeg's skyline.

For all the bickering back an fourth over the last page - here is the round-about image BlackDog204 was referencing in Edmonton, but posted a picture of a random round-about in an American city.

Precisely. When I view Confusion Corner on Google Maps, I often wonder if there would be anyway to transform the intersection into a oval-shaped roundabout. The only problem is the volume of traffic on Pembina, and the close proximity Corydon is to Pembina.

The other problem is that confusion corner has all the commercial junk in the middle. Roundabouts typically don’t have exit/access points in the middle of them.

Confusion Corner kind of is a secret ovalabout. I think they'd just have to split Osborne to complete the effect.

I like a 4-lane tunnel connecting Pembina and Donald though, starting just before Scott and exiting just after Jessie. Turn the street-level stuff into normal urban streets.

Sell off the Mcmillan-Pembina connector, redundant bus stop, and east lanes of Pembina to finance it. Tax revenue from the corner developing once it's no longer a tangle of stroad will cover payments.

The west Germans used to love making these kind of tunnels under platzes and busy intersections.

As a pedestrian, the exits and entrances are ugly and annoying to walk around, but given that Pembina and Donald are and always will be ugly and annoying to walk around, I think it's a good solution.

Ya I've surmised about that for a long time. It's the obvious answer. But money and all haha returning that stretch of Osborne to the people would be fantastic.

How many years was that for excavation and foundation work then?

I wonder if they're going to be using a tower crane or something less prominent for this. Anybody in the know?

Less prominent. I’m predicting 14 guys, some scaffolding and 7 extension ladders.
