The fact that it's a huge parking lot filler and an attractive building, and how it complements the Richardson Innovation Centre across the street is a major win. Once this project is built, the Bond Tower is completed, the Fairmont renovation is done and 138 Portage Ave East is filled this area will have a different feel to it.
It's important to note that this facility is a driver of economic tourism. Over the last 50 years the Main street facility has welcomed 'over 100K global buyers, farmers, value chain members and the agriculture industry to the facility'.
