The main thing i noticed between now and the update the year before is the construction fencing, the "Town Center" sign, and then the dirt mounds. Could just be something seasonal though I guess.

Maybe they're making a seasonal motocross park. (I highly doubt it.)

For the last few holiday seasons, I have always seen signage referring to the pumpkin patch as Town Center. So that might be a new sign, but that just indicates that it's still going to be used as a seasonal holiday lot by the same group. To my knowledge, there have been no new plans announced regarding this parcel.

I like it. Strong Googie influence makes the new addition seem retro.

Lightbulb

This is on display at the Centro San Antonio (the downtown yellow-shirt ambassadors) offices inside the Weston Center. No clue if this is some kind of student thought experiment or a teaser for a legitimate project.

Considering how slow the South Alamo project took (and how long Project Marvel will take), this would probably take…oooh, fifty years to complete? Five new parks along one road with a bike path connecting it all together?

Speaking of Marvel, a new development called Project DC (District of Cattleman) has also been proposed and is in the feedback stage. At least somebody has a vision for the inner West Side…that wonderful intersection of Centro Plaza/County Jail/Haven for Hope/train tracks and bail bond offices…
