I noticed they are going hard getting Daves Hot Chicken ready on Granville, I even saw employees wearing the shirts today, presumably training. Looks like they are trying to get ready fast to open while the world cup is going.

Granville street looks amazing and a good crowd of people enjoying themselves, really positive vibe for sure.

looked like they had a team training meeting in there yesterday, looked like a dozen employees, it looks really nice inside

on another topic, the Asian restaurant they are finishing on Seymour off Robson is looking really luxurious inside, the doors were wide open when I walked by and the renovations look like they are getting close to finished and it looks really well laid out and comfortable, seems like they had a great designer

Yea they changed the date, now it says the 19th. They will have a lot of customers right on their doorstep, this weekend is going to be busy down there.

I read there will be 3 BC locations. Where are the other two going to be, does anyone know? In the Lower mainland?

Any dirty Soda shops coming? Chilliwack has one opening or just opened. Seems like the trendy drink right now, first took off in Utah. McDonald's seems to be having it with their weird drinks for the summer.

They say they generate 1.2 billion in annual sales

Kinto was always a franchise play and probably just Noodlebox-style ramen so it's a perfect fit for them.

Interesting news, but not surprising. Kinton was already approaching food-court level product and this is basically perfect for the new owners.

I tried it in the Waterfront food court and it was ok, not great.

Gojira is way better in my opinion.

I always found Kinton to be basic. I prefer Danbo or Hokkido Ramen Santouka.

anyone braved the lineup at Dave's Hot Chicken yet? I haven't, it is full inside and the line twists outside and around the corner all day long from early to late

I'm eager to try it for sure

Long time viewer, first time posting:

I just noticed Egg Slut will be opening underneath Din Tai Fung on Alberni Street. Vinyl wrap is being installed on the windows as I type.
