It's been windy the last three days. Thursday was extremely windy, today not so annoying, but still from the NW, which means the air is dry and it feels a bit cool despite being 25. It has been mostly sunny, but we've had bits of rain overnight the past few days.

Splendid day. Clear, sunny, dry and warm with a nice breeze.

Saturday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 22 C (23 C w/Humidex), the low was 14 C.

I was not going to post but something bad happens yet again.

Big flooding in parts of Montreal.

Man, this is the most intense 72-hour soaker I've ever seen in Edmonton. Downpours for hours on end.

Forecasts now have London, England at 38 on Wednesday…

Ottawa missed the storm yesterday, but we may get hit later today. It is shaping up to be a very green summer.

And 40C in Paris. These European heat waves seem to have become a regular summer feature.

Yeah, these heat domes over Europe seem to happen every year now. Paris might hit 40+ three days in a row this week. Average June high is 23.

Overcast today so the 13C feels especially chilly. I still have the windows of the house all open (going through withdrawals it's been cold for so long) but it's a sweater and blanket day.

Officially 52.4 mm at YUL.

Only 12 mm at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.

In between, PWS are showing up to 120 mm in the West Island.

Yesterday:

20 mm of rain at Edmonton International
22 mm at Villenuve
22 mm at Lacombe
24 mm at Nordegg
25 mm at Vegreville
29 mm of rain at Blatchford.
38 mm at Elk Island
41 mm at Whitecourt
43 mm at Barrhead
47 mm at Edson
50 mm at Stony Plain
50 mm at Camrose

By the time I went to bed at 2:30 am last night, pretty sure another 20 mm fell. Probably another 20 mm by the time I woke up.

Just seen some rain gauges in Beaumont showing 110 mm as of 10 am, Sunday.

Cleared off yesterday afternoon and it was pleasant out by early evening. My son actually took a dip in the pool.

13C presently in Moncton at 8 AM and sunny. Going up to 21C this afternoon with a 30% chance of showers.

The entire upcoming week will be seasonable or slightly below seasonable with chance of showers or rain every friggin' day,
