Alberta is really going through it this spring. HOLY am I ever over rain and wind. Just an absolutely brutal May and June—And April was basically extra winter this year. SHOW US YOUR POWER EL NINO.

Twas a really nice late spring in London until this week. Don't know what's going on, but it has been very miserable (cold, wet) all week. Just when I thought the 🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵 weather was over, its back again.

The latest from The Weather Network, an earthquake (felt in Bathurst, Nova Scotia; of course it was).

21C with a humidex of 27 and dark, rainy, windy. Just awful. We will have to start modifying the weather real soon. You cannot have such crappy weather for so long.

Low of 16C this morning. Probably the worst June morning I have experienced. Rainy, windy and incredibly dark. I cannot stress how dark today was especially this morning. Nighttime conditions at 10AM was something surreal that I have only seen in movies.

The warmest was Lytton, BC at 32.6C.

Warmest low yesterday was Osoyoos, BC at 18.3C.

Thursday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 22 C (25 C w/Humidex), the low was 12 C.

19C and partly cloudy in Moncton at 9 AM, High of only 22C with chance of passing showers and thunderstorms.

I was awoken last night about 2 AM by a sharp crack of thunder - the type which is overly loud and just keeps on rolling and rolling. I think it was the only one. I didn't hear any other thunder. It knocked out the power in the house for less than a second, but, this morning, I was seriously concerned that it had fried my computer. It wouldn't reboot properly. I did the reboot again, and everything was fine the second time around.

Heavy rain and wind last night too. The same system that Nicko was complaining about yesterday.

Almost 100mm of rain forecast for Edmonton this weekend. I would not be surprised if this is the rainiest June on record.

Only Weather network is showing that. EC say 40. and June is always the wettest month of the year here. We just got accustomed to hot / dry cause of the last few years.

Yes we are normally wet this year.

There was one year (mid 60s) where the rain was so frequent that we had mud slides on Groat road.

But my yard is loving this rain, Only down side is it mainly rains on the weekends and the mosquitoes are horrible. Even with a healthy dose of Deep woods off they are still bad. I had to work fast on my rebuild of a raised planter yesterday.

TownGuy, I would kill for that sun.

19C was the high. Cloudy, rain on and off, breezy. Atrocious.

Low of 17C this morning. Overcast and quite dark again. This is the period with longest day of the year.

The warmspot was Ashcroft, BC at 34.8C.

Warmest low yesterday was Point Pelee, ON at 16.8C.

Might be my last post in here for a while, I am just too disgusted to post.

European and Canadian model is saying 100 mm roughly. Canada model is suggesting up to 200 mm is going to fall in central Kalyna Country.

The average June high in Paris is 23, yet in a few days they are forecasted to hit 42 with a low of 27.

The ten day forecast in London, England, has every day above 26, peaking at 36 in a few days.

It seems that Europe continually gets these major heat events every year now.

I’ve seen that the only cooling anomaly has been centered in the northwest portion of the Atlantic, generally between Newfoundland and Greenland.
