Another SK craft brewery M & A just announced, as Paddock Wood is merging operations into District in Regina. Tough time for that industry, so good to see that Paddock Wood (one of the OGs) will keep going.

Applebees/IHOP is opening on Tuesday, March 17. 3698 Victoria Avenue East. Used to be a Chili's. Before that, it was The Rotisserie. Nothing seems to stick in this location.

The Rotisserie seemed to be ok up until covid hit. Applebees has been done but I'm curious about how IHOP will do here. I don't think we've ever had one before.

Saskatchewan’s First International House of Pancakes (IHOP) opened in Regina on Tuesday, a long-awaited announcement for pancake lovers.

The dual IHOP and Applebee’s restaurant is located at 3698 Victoria Ave. East, the former home of a Chili’s and later the Rotisserie buffet restaurant.
According to a post on its Instagram page, IHOP offered free pancakes for a year to the first 400 guests to visit the location.

A long line of breakfast lovers could be seen outside the restaurant as of 10:30 a.m.

Joe's Deli has re-opened at the NE corner of Scarth St and 8th Ave in the Warehouse District. 8th Ave is developing into a nice little secondary commercial strip in that area with Joe's, And Some, Everyday Kitchen and everything at local market.

Munch Café: A Regina restaurant where ability comes first

Step into Munch Café and Catering and the first thing you notice isn’t a mission statement.

It’s the smell. Something warm and savoury hangs in the air. Grilled bread, coffee, soup simmering somewhere just out of sight

Leicester Normanview is permanently closed. Owner citing poor economics. He says Albert St and Weyburn locations are not affected but you have to wonder.

I saw that location was up for sale a few months ago. Probably too large of a space for them, so hopefully the Albert location works. But agreed, doesn't look good.

This looks fantastic. Bushwakker had said they are doing one too, so hopefully it is setup soon.

A new restaurant called Good Company is opening in District Brewing. The food looks pretty good in their Instagram video.

Water break infront of Bushwakkers yesterday had the basement more than knee deep with water. According to their social media, 8h of pumping water out and the city will have to dig up that new sidewalk infront to repair. They're closed for a few days.

$30 million to upgrade Dewdney infrastructure. That did not work out so well.
