Some more photos of the completed towers.

The placement of the addresses on the front of the buildings is weird since there's a light strip directly behind it.

Old pic on Instagram.

This was the southern end mall called (I think) Richmond Square
Sears would have been on the north end of this and was moved to the south end where the Super Value is located when the 2 malls were joined up with the atrium.
The mall to the north with Hudson's Bay was called Richmond Centre.

Correct. Richmond Square was nicknamed Brighouse to many when I was a kid. To get to Richmond Centre, to the north, you'd cut through Sears then across the parking lot. It was a pain to get between the two malls especially in the rain. Richmond Centre was the nicer and newer of the two malls. The interior was warm brown / orange tile and dimly lit.

Some random pictures from April 2. It's nice to see it in spring and in the daylight. The underground parking was still quite empty while people drove in circles and waited for a spot in the old parking lots.

The east side is done, the west side is still behind scaffolding, but its feels nice and bright, I didn't look at the outside.

A few new stores, I didn't take pics but Abercrombie & Fitch is closed for renovation, Purdy's has moved and in a much busier spot.

UG tea is opening soon, its on the south side across from Roots. This will be their first store in Canada. I copied this from google.

I mean for Richmond Centre it probably makes more sense to have a staple grocery store versus having a T&T.

Yes, especially since at Lansdowne they have that huge T&T store.

Will the Richmond outdoor section just be restaurants and such or will other retailers open up outside? I guess food options are good but some shops would be nice.

It seemed like they wanted a mix of food along with general retail stores outside the "high road" and fronting No 3 Road.

Thanks!
I didn't realize the Sears site is still largely undeveloped post-demolition, and that the multilevel parkade is still standing.
