Some pictures of this were posted on Facebook, and 95% of the comments hated it and said it was the ugliest thing they had ever seen. A lot of them weren't even from here.

Will it be taller than the Kuma one? they are both 43 floors right? but this will be slightly taller looking?

Judging the looks of a tower while it is still under construction is silly.

Tell that to the people who use it

I mean most people don't like modern architecture so whatever. The only real market they are targeting is people who are actually going to work or live in those units.

^Love that shot down Georgia. Those cantilevers will really stand out lit up at night.

They had switched to the narrow floorplates at the top of the tower but it was hard to say if they reached the top of it.

Elevations here

I think they were closer to 38 or 39.

Nice, thanks!

You can't see the cantilevered struts (at least in that light), so that's a plus!

What's with that one glass panel on the right box with by the lamp pole. It was like that in February from Zepfancouver's photo as well.

Possibly a failed seal on the glazing? I think that those situations (and any breakages) are dealt with by ordering replacement units when the building is nearing completion.
