They've been finishing the landscaping elements of the Brunswick Street bikeway recently so I thought I'd share a photo of the nice parkette that has replaced the right-turn slip lane.

It would have been less expensive to designate the slip lane as “cycle only” and just integrate it into the cycling infrastructure. But this is nice too.

I do question the logic used to eliminate slip lanes, but that has already been over-discussed.

I will say, it is much better walking through there. It was always so awkward before.
