Pouring the L1 floor slab in the north end of the 11s Victoria Residence building today. Forming has started for the ground floor slab in the south end and for the ground to L1 parking ramp in the SE corner. The 5s NE corner building is wrapping up the exterior masonry work and making progress on the exterior cladding install.
Have now poured the L1 perimeter walls on the north end of this building. Forming for the L1 posts continues and the start of forming for the ground floor slab on the south end including the parking ramp from ground to L1 level.
Small milestone day today with concrete pour of a section of ground floor slab in the SW corner of the 11s building. Two concrete pump trucks and parade of cement trucks working. Also working on forming and pouring the remaining L1 walls and posts on the north end.
Forming and steel rebar going in for the ground floor slab along the east side of pit. First forms and steel rebar for the ground floor walls now going up on the SW corner of the 11s Victoria Residence building.
First ground floor walls and posts have now been poured in the SW corner. Forming for the ground floor slab has started on the north end. Appear to be waiting for better weather to pour the NE corner ground floor slab.
Did the ground floor concrete slab pour yesterday on the NE corner of the 11s Victoria Residence building. Forming of ground floor walls and posts in the SW corner continues.
Pouring the north section of ground floor slab today with concrete pump truck completing the ground floor slab for this 11s building. Forming continues for ground floor walls and posts on the SE side end.
Forming and pouring of the ground floor walls on the north end progressing well. Also forming for the second floor slab in the SW corner. No ground floor wall or post forming yet along the east side.
They appear to have poured a concrete slab in the SW corner for the 2nd floor now and are using precast concrete slabs for the 2nd floor section beside it. Have started forming ground floor posts on the east side of the footprint.
Have started forming for the second floor walls in the 11s Victoria Residence building. Have some of the ground floor posts poured now on the east side which appears to have a ground drive thru parking and passthru area that will link to Colborne St.
Landscaping work on the NE corner building is progressing well as they have now poured the walkways. The other two 5s buildings are now leasing. The heritage building on the SE corner is now getting the north side entrance way built as most of the windows have now been installed in the rest of the renovation. I would expect alot of exterior brick and stonework on the exterior to be patched up and cleaned in the coming months as they work on interior finishing.
The 11s Victoria Residence building is getting the 2nd floor walls built with concrete blocks on the 4s north section. Lots of posts jacks being used on the east side 2 story tall entrance off South St which appears to be connected to Colborne St. Still working on forming 2s tall posts here. The SW corner is getting forming for the 2nd floor walls and posts.
They have now installed the 3rd floor precast floor slabs along the west side of the 11s Victoria Residence building. Still working on forming the 2s tall posts along the east side. Sod has now been installed around the 5s NE corner building across the street. The heritage building on the SW corner has now opened up some of the windows as they appear to be gutting it back to the concrete and brick walls on the interior.
They have now started forming and pouring some of the 3rd floor walls on the west side of this 11s building. Still working on forming for the 3rd floor slab along the east side.
Have now poured the 3rd floor slab in the SE corner which is the entrance to the underground parking. Continue to make progress pouring and building 3rd floor walls and posts along the west side.
Installing the 4th floor precast concrete floor slabs on the SW corner now. Have started building the exterior wall steel stud framing on the ground floor level.
Have now finished installing the 4th floor precast slabs. Some of the 4th floor walls and posts are now poured and also some of the 4th floor concrete block walls are started. The four new buildings are all now leasing while renovation work continues on the two heritage buildings.
