Post Jamaica Neighborhood Plan Full Approval

The city council approved the Jamaica Neighborhood Plan last week.

We are looking at the rezoning yielding at least 12,000 units and 2 million sq-ft of commercial space.

Some reading material on the plan with various documents: https://www.jamaicaplan.nyc/

The DEIS is worth reading. Same with proposal presentation.

Q1 2026 had 28,773 residential and hotel units proposed. 34.6 million square feet in Q1 2026.

Every borough is seeing an increase compared to similar period last Q1 2025.

The boom is coming!
